Supply, contracting and project delivery for government departments, public sector undertakings and statutory bodies.
Sector context
What shapes projects here
Public procurement is one of India's largest addressable markets and among the least accessible to companies that have not learned its mechanics. Capability is rarely the barrier; documentary process is, and technically strong bids are routinely disqualified on procedural grounds.
The channel rewards persistence and process discipline. Registration and empanelment take time, eligibility credentials build cumulatively through completed contracts, and companies that treat it as a channel to be developed rather than an occasional opportunity do substantially better.
MSME and startup procurement preferences are meaningful where they apply — EMD exemption, purchase preference and reserved procurement — but they have to be claimed correctly and evidenced in the bid to take effect.
